I was reading the newspaper on my lunch break yesterday and I read something very interesting. Out of all the earthquakes recorded in human history, half of the top ten most deadly earthquakes have occurred within the last 100 years. Here is a link to Wikipedia entry showing earthquakes by death toll. It makes me wonder how many more really deadly earthquakes will occur within the next 100 years. Kind of a scary thought!
